I've not said anything yet, but I bought a used ball from Ike a few weeks back. I sent the money, but didn't hear anything back from him.
I sent him messages, but didn't get responses very quickly. He said he would get the ball out to me, but didn't.
Finally, I saw where others who had bought from him were posting that they had already gotten their balls, so I asked him " If you have time to ship others, and you have time to post in these forums, why don't you have time to ship me my ball?"
He finally told me that he was in one location and that the balls were in another, but that he would make sure the ball got sent out. The next day, he sent me a tracking number.
I tracked it, but it never left the depot. After a week, I contacted him and told him to please check it out. That night, he responded that there was a mixup in the labeling address and that it had been fixed. I tracked it and it was on its way.
I recieved it 3 days later ( after about 2 weeks of waiting ), and it was just a promised. A pristine ebonite overtime that looked as though it might never have been thrown.
I was very happy with the ball, and Ike seemed as though he was honest, just a bit busy and a bit scatter-brained at times, but he had/has a lot going on, or so he says.
Like I said, the ball was great, just like he promised, but his attention to detail and his customer service had a lot of room for improvement. I would probably buy from him again, but I would insist on better service next time. That would be a condition of purchase.
