New C300 ball to replace Ransom Demand
« on: December 02, 2012, 05:31:08 PM »
I've looked for a few days trying to find a ball for a customer. He wants to replace his favorite ball Ransom Demand. He wants the newest Colimbia ball to match the performance he gets from the old ball. Anything new with the same core and/or cover?

A local guy bought a defiant to replace his demand...and man he loved the demand..except how the cover was high maintenance for him...

At first he hated the defiant...because it was not the demand..and now that its tracked up with a few sets on it...hes is completely happy.

I would talk to some of the ebi guys though..odds are he wants a c300/ebo/hammer/track ball

number wise i see the ebo challenge to be close to the demand..more than the other hp releases..BUT theres new stuff on the way so..

Jet black taboo would do the trick.Just hit it with a 4000 pad and should be very similar.

Can vouch for the challenge
stronger piece, symmetric, even rolling and very predictable
strongest piece I own

I could be wrong, but a ball doesn't have be polished to be a pearl, look at omen it is a pearl and was dull but either way the Enigma is sronger overall and will have more backend and be more versitle in my opinion the Enigma would be a better replacement because I have them both

This is just from observation my teammate has a challenge drilled similar the challenge is 3000 & enigma is 1500 I was able to play multiple angles and in oil  without losing carry, where the enigma was smooth off spot the challenge showed more over n under and his carry suffered when he moved in the enigma reminds me of a stronger ransom demand if that helps. They prob could complement each other, I'm not expert but I think challenge goes a lil longer it being a pearl
