Well....it sure looks good! Based on the results from pros, I'd say the Vow will be a good piece to have.
In the bag:

Roto Grip Magic Gem
Motiv Primal Shock
Hammer Ocean Vibe

Maybe it's the hybrid of the Omen and Oath...

TTT someone,
Is it pearl? hybrid? solid?
Is it a high RG ball for getting down the lanes or an early roll oiler?
Anyone give us some tease on this ball??

Anyone go to the WSOB or hear anything on Xtraframe?

is it the capsule core from the Oath and Omen with a Polished cover. I dont know if it is a hybrid or a weaker pearl coverstock than the omen.

EBI in general seems to be doing a ton of blends lately, most recent releases in some form or another could be considered hybrids.

Was at the WSOB... the Vow is "Pearl" with Resurgence core.

Seems to have traction similar to the Burst with length of the old Momentum (pearl)

I was to belive it was the core from the Oath/Omen line..

That will be the 3rd polished pearl in a row with that line... ODD?

What other balls are polished pearls in this line? The Omen is a dull pearl and the Oath is a dull Solid.

As MJH is writing it is the Resurgence core with a polished pearl coverstock, if that is correct then it is the 3rd in a row in that line. Having the Eruption and Violont Eruption. But they just released the Mass Eruption.

So i still belive it is the Capsule core from Oath/Omen line.

chris barnes during xtra frame said it made the perfect trifecta of upper mid price with omen and oath
so pretty sure its capsule core

After not being with EBI since January, I am not as well versed with the tech side of their pieces... so I do not want to give anyone the impression that I'm up to date with C300 or EBI.

All I do know is when on the WSOB set, after seeing a ton of the EBI guys throw the ball during the week, I was curious about what the ball was... D-Mac happened to be warming up on the stub lane, a certain individual was there next to the stub-lane so I asked him what the ball was and he mentioned it had the Resurgence core and it was pearl.

The individual that told me about the Vow doesn't work for the C300 or EBI but he is well known and to add to his credibility, was on the TV lanes in practice with a few guys helping them with ball reaction, etc. So he either speculated about the Vow or he was accurate.

In the end, the Vow will likely be received well by the masses.
Again, no intention of making any inaccurate claims, strictly relaying what I heard.

COLUMBIA 300 VOW

The Vow is easy through the front of the lane and creates a strong and continuous motion throughout the backend. Players with higher rev rates will see a skid flip motion while players with medium to lower rev rates will see a strong breakpoint with great continuation. The move on the backend is impressive no matter how you throw the ball and you’ll love the versatility the Vow provides.
