What to do?
« on: May 18, 2005, 04:06:52 PM »
Over the years, I've developed a form of arthritis in my bowling hand. My ring finger and middle are affected by this. Is also in my right wrist. Not to mention my Knees, left ankle, right hip. Do'es anyone have any recommendations to make? Like ball drilling? It's getting worst the older I get. I would love NOT TO GIVE UP BOWLING, like I have the rest of my activities.

Thank you for looking.  .  .Dan

Mr Old School -- I sympathize, as I have some of the same problems, although not in the hand or wrist (yet).  What weight ball are you using?  You might consider going down to 14 lb if you're not already there.  Also talk to your driller about your finger joint flexibility.  The proper amount of reverse pitch in the fingers can make a big difference in comfort.  --  JohnP
