Anyone polish an NVD?
« on: November 25, 2008, 01:38:19 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has tried this and what the outcome was, thanks! I don't have one yet but I'm looking to pick one up...

Just buy the Complete NV if you want that look, and skip the NVD altogether.

I COMPLETEly agree.  Get the Complete NV if you want polished NV.

I've heard the Complete is somewhat similar to the NVS which I have and I really like...is that not true??? That's why I was going to go with the NVD...

Same drillings the polished NVD is a few boards stronger than a CNV

I polished my NVD it became a dart, also have 2 complete and they outhooked it with ease.

Be careful with what you do, I went back to the 4k no polish look after trying a few times of changing it. Now it just hooks alot and leaves back rows so far, not a good enough ball matchup to bother with anything but practice at this point.

So far Striking Motion is even worse nothing but big hype and no hooky lol

Should have bought the Pin Slasher or a 2nd playmaker or a 2nd Sauce

I have and the results where good.  Even on patterns with under reacting backends, the ball still is able to hook and have a decent amount of carry.

Unlike some other ebo solid balls which I have polish but haven't had success, the Nvd is a capable ball even when polished.

first, the CNV and the NVD are 2 entirly different balls. Even with polish the NVD will have a stronger midlane read and a more mild backend reaction. If your looking for backend go with the CNV, if your looking for a smooth, stronger overall ball reaction grab a NVD and polish it, you wont be dissapointed.
