Oh, ye of little faith.

Ebonite is now among the returned.

I see a resemblance to the C-systems of Brunswick, to the Virtuals of Storm, to the Cells, to the Swings of Columbia, to the Avalanches of Brunswick, to the heart of bowling. None are the same, yet all are "Bowling"!!

and, remember: I am not yet an Ebonite fan(atic), but I am getting close.

Give Ebonite and Brunswick a chance. And see what you get.

You''re prejudiced and not in full control of all your faculties, if you truly believe that. Plus I expect that you have not truly and knowledgably tried very many current Ebonite balls.

Maybe a Mutant Cell competitor? Only time will tell. Ebonite makes good stuff, shoot for that matter they all do!

Actually the Magic Action is comparable to the Mutant Cell. Drilled them both the day after Xmas and they play within a board or two with the MA being about two feet longer and having more continuation.

The Mutant has seen more use though as the conditions I have bowled on are pretty wet/dry and it gave me more area and recovery from a deep line trying to stay in the oil.

Just my $.02

The description doesn't seem to give much in-depth details about it. I look on the Rating Matrix on the site they have the surface at 2000 abralon, mass bias at .013 the hook rating at 47 and says strong backend continuation (a little more info on the ball). But a video demostration like Track does now would really help. I'm surprised the new release wasn't a heavy oil or something above the Magic and Evolve.

There is a video of it on Facebook, no description of the condition it was used on, was done at Babylon Lanes in Long Island. Based on the reaction, they weren't fresh.

Bunch of staffers throwing it.

Release date isn't until February, but if they put as much money into it as they say they did, there should be some video due out for it.

I tested my Mission yesterday. I drilled it 5½" x 45 degrees and left it in box condition.

I tested it beside my Magic Touch with the same drilling. The Touch is sanded with 2000 abralon.

My mission is about 3-4 feet longer and much stronger on the back end. It reminded me of The One when it first came out. I''m not sure how to describe the reaction but I haven''t seen this type reaction from Ebonite in a long time. I usually have a hard time controlling balls with strong back end reaction but the Mission is quite easy to control. It reacted well with release changes so I could easily play different parts of the lane.

My buddy who''s also an Ebonite staffer is saying the same thing about the reaction: Strong but easy to control

The Mission is very different from the past releases from Ebonite. I''m sure it''s going to find it''s way into my bag.

I''ll try to shoot some video as soon as possible EDIT: Due to my knee I probably won''t be able to shoot a video for a few weeks. Sorry

This is factual  I know several of the guys throwing the ball (1 of them drills my equip).  I haven''''''''t seen the ball other than the video on FB, but will ask their opinion of it
