What does everyone think?

lets get some buzz going on here!

I just signed my new contract with Hammer yesterday and look forward to another exciting successful year with the best equipment around...

that being said...

what does everyone think will be replacing the newly discontinued equipment

1. Raw Hammer Doom   :'(  (will be missed dearly)
2. Blue Vibe (first adult 300 with this gem, will never be forgotten)
3. Raw Hammer Toxic (first adult 800 series with the green monster)
4. No Mercy (qualified through the TQR in Reno at the Constructionjobs.com
Championship with this aggressive piece of equipment)
5. No Mercy Beat'n (a trooper to open up the lane)

I am honestly CLUELESS to what will be coming out this summer around bowl expo time and am very excited for Christmas come early...

so lets throw some ideas out there... what does everyone think ?

one possible guess I have might be a new High Line since both No Mercy's have been discontinued... I have no idea what it would be, but am giddy at the idea of the possibility...

anyways Hammerheads have at it!!!

they will probably replace the No Mercy line with another widow and replace the anger line with another widow.that way we will have 15 different widow's to chose from.

Solid vibe- although a dull blue vibe handles oil very well, I would like to see true solid ball in the vibe line.

I also think it's pretty stupid to discontinue the no mercy line.  The original No Mercy is in my top 3 bowling balls i've ever owned.

I guess the sales of the NM's were not good for them to discontiue the entire line?  I have seen a lot of NM's in my area.

I think part of the reasons are with the black widows offering a similar reaction and much more widespread talk of them, as well as the No Mercy's being slightly higher in price lead to their demise. They also have been out for more than a season now so it is possible that they just have something new thats high end that they want to come out with and not overload the catalog.

These are just my thoughts.

HEY GUYS!

I threw both of the No Mercy's and thought they served their purpose very well...

The original concept of the ball was during the time we all thought USBC was going to lay the standard down that we "couldn't have weight holes in the ball", this unique concept for the No Mercy was brought to the table. I feel now with the idea that once was with USBC not eliminating the 'weight hole' stipulation, the No Mercy really had no other purpose..

Again, I don't want to try and stir up anything because that is not how I do things but just giving an opinion...it maybe wrong, but I'm thinking it has some points into just why they decided to pull the plug. I'm pretty sure Hammer is going to have another HP line to replace them without a doubt.

On a side note, I didn't really drill that many No Mercy's and I was asked quite a bit about them. I think I may have drilled up a Beat'n for a buddy of mine but that was it...

Anyways, Hammer has good products and I'm sure Ussery has got some excellent stuff coming up on the horizon for us all! God Bless You All and thanks for reading!

I have to agree that the reactions were no where near the same mainly due to the fact that the cores and covers are not similar...

I do believe that having problems with the Widow or Widow Pearl or even the bite might have to do with the layouts that are on the balls

I have drilled a few Widows many different ways and have found layouts that just do not work well on those balls  but there are many layouts that are great for that line equipment that is for sure

I think a Vibe Solid would be a great addition to the lineup in the Vibe Series, I don't know what they could do to a Widow now to have a new one released and I am still thinking a new High Line might be a possibility... and definitely a new Raw Hammer that is Pearlized...

I know what the new black widow is.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to thinking that if they buy a new ball they will carry everything. And its even funnier when im carrying with my 15 year old ball and they're going flat ten.

Total speculation here...that being said, here's what my opinion...OPINION.

No Mercy's - While I believe that the current two NM's are to be discontinued, I do NOT believe that we've seen the last NM ball. The NM Whup'n is on the approved list, and I anticipate it being a pearl.

Doom/Toxic - While I agree that it will be sad to see these go, I also believe that there will be no more "Raw Hammer" balls released. Instead, I think the mid-priced ball they will release will be with a new name and core. I've heard rumors about names, but they're all just rumors.

Blue Vibe - It totally SUCKS that this ball is to be discontinued, but there must be good reason for it somewhere, no matter how hard it is for me to see it. I expect a new (possibly solid) Vibe...maybe something that doesn't hook as much as a BW? lol

New Widow - Another one with a ton of rumors. All I can say is...I hope so. I think this is the one that they won't release until like mid-season.

Again...100% of this is pure speculation. It's very possible that all of it is completely wrong...this is just the direction I'm guess they'll go.

I am hoping for another Pearl Widow of some kind. I love the BWP. I need to buy another.

I agree with the Six on this one.

Dramatically different reactions from the No Mercy and the Black Widow!

The No Mercy was a much stronger Midlane ball in my eyes than the Black Widow which seemed to shun midlane and love to create just pure backend.
