has anyone (staff member?) been able to compare the infection to the plague? bowling this month seems to think that the infection has a skid/snap type of reaction almost to the point of being uncontrollable. if this is true is it because of the coverstock or the factory surface.  hammer's sales ad for the infection it seems as though the coverstock  on the infection is stronger than the plague's but the 4000 abralon finish on the infection is the only thing that makes the infection skid further than the plague.

I have the same drill pattern on the Plague & the Infection (pin below middle finger / MB about 1" from thumb)... this drilling is about 6" from my PAP  (5"x 7/8" up). I absolutely love the Infection better as it is much cleaner through the fronts with stronger midlane & continous backend than the Plague. I have tried several different surfaces on the Plague and it was one of those balls that didn't match up for me. I have the surface of both the Plague & Infection at 4000 Abralon and I can say that the Infection now replaces my Plague in the bag. This ball is smooth enough at the breakpont where it will not get you in trouble, yet strong enough where you can play the oil line (deeper) if needed.

I think that the Taboo & Infection compliment each other great and I think that with those two balls at the top of the Hammer line, I will be having a very, very successful bowling season!! You might want to give the Infection a try as you will be very happy with the results!
