My son was bowling in a JBT this past weekend and the top qualifier in the scratch division was using a Hawg Zilla.  I saw that the pin was under his ring finger but I didn't see where the MB was.  This young man threw hard with a lot of revs.  By the time he came in for his stepladder match, there had been 8 matches bowled on that pair (approx 60+ games bowled).  With his speed and revolutions the ball didn't overreact and carried great.  He shot 300 in his stepladder match to win the tournament.

Still no info on this ball on the Hammer site.

Yep, that's him.  It was at Eagle Rock Lanes.  Were you there?

I saw him there too.  The ball was polished and looked very controllable.  I had to leave due to a wrist problem after the fourth game, so I didn't get to see the 300 or the two 279s, but I watched the ball in practice.  As compared to his V2 power it was a little less overall hook, a longer reaction, and more bite on the backend.  Its hard to tell exactly how it was considering I'm a righty and don't know any of his stats (pap, tilt, ec.) or how it was drilled.
