Greetings Folks

 What solid LM ball would fit 'tween a polished BUZZ and a dull STING? I'm thinking on one of these two, A) Term.Rebellion B) WCR

I have both the Terminator Rebellion and the World Class Reactive.  As you're also a tweener, I'd highly recommend the WCR over the TR to fit in the middle of the two balls you described.  While the TR is still a great ball, the WCR has better length with a stronger back end move than the TR.

I kind of favor the WCR also. Haven't played with the TR, but it's full of potential. Both covers can be modified.

Thanks guys for your input.

 I ended up getting the Terminator Rebellion for a couple of reasons but mainly because I will be getting into a PBA shot league once again and I think I will have better control with the Terminator Rebellion but that is of course IMHO.

For that reason, control, the base TR is a safer bet than the WCR.
FYI From what I understand, it stays pretty controllable with normal surface changes. However, if you choose 4000 Abralon + polish, all bets about controllability are off.

Just picked up the Terminator Rebellion from my driller and I must say for a ball that comes with the finish at "800 Matte" it sure looks a lot higher...kinda looks around 4K Ab.

Anyway, I try it out tonight in league...btw, its one great looking ball.

Ok, tonight actually had some oil out there do for game one and game two I threw my new STING (3-4"Pin stacked)

and in the third game I tried my new Terminator Rebellion (3-4"Pin 4x4) with the first throw I played the same line as I had with the STING and it hooked way early

so after 3-4 frames I finally got lined up and was basically bellying the ball and it was coming back and finishing very very strong...even though with the drill being strong I find the ball real freaking strong and not a mellow ball what so ever.

And, wow! the strikes combined with the really great looking ball had my bowling peeps coming over and asking "what the hell is that?" LOL

Anyway, this ball is as usual a really really great LM ball and of course it has the powerful LM strike. I am glad I bought it and I want another one.

Congrats, Jake.

Remember that the STing comes with what seems almost a gloss polish and, even though it's a particle, it can get a lot of length. The TR comes what is supposed to be 800 (US) grit matte finish. All reviews say it is even reacting, BUT on medium to medium-heavy oil. BJI liked it a lot more than BTM did, implying its overall hooking strength if not in so many clear words.

If you want a little bit more length, take it to 4000 grit (2000 US grit)Abralon, by first using a 2000 grit (1000 US grit) Abralon pad on it. If you have Valentino pads, they have a 3000 grit (1500 US grit) that may be an ideal in-between for you.
