Here's my 2 cents, FWIW:
given your specs, tilt, revs, ball speed, and the condition on which you want to use the BK (a ball I really, really like) medium-medium heavy and given the ball's highish RG and low RG differential, I'd say you're right about putting the pin below the bridge area. In fact, I'd place no higher than ring finger height, maybe 4" from your PAP (no further), and place the CG about 3" from your PAP.
(Your natural track, tilt and rotation tends to add length to most balls; that's why I'm suggesting the strong pin and CG positions. That CG position will probably need a weight hole. I'm thinking it should be 6 - 6 3/4" from grip center.)
Any idea if the previous user modified the surface?
The stock surface is almost ideal for me on medium oil and longer mediums, almost to medium-heavy oil. You may need to manipulate the surface to insure it covers "true" medium-heavy" oil patterns.
Just some random thoughts. Good luck.
