I'm planning on gettin a new ball and i cant decide which one to choose from.. either the New Standard or Yeah Baby.. I was wondering if anyone has any insight or suggestions for me.. I like to have it to go long so I was wonder if anyone know which one hooks more and which on will go longer. Thanx

unless nothing else you have even thinks about facing the pocket get the new standard.

the baby needs lots of oil to do anything, if there isnt LOTS of oil it looks pretty poor since it rolls out(teammate has both these).  the baby is easily for more volume than the standard

I have 1 more question does it relaly matter if i use a 15lbs or 16 lbs ball.. What I mean is the impact and how it crashes on the pins..

With the same drilling, the NS is earlier, smother and more towards a control type of ball. The YB is longer (even though it has a heavy load of particles) and has a very strong, almost flippy (for a solid particle) type of backend. I stand 7-10 boards deeper with my YB than my NS. The YB seems to be more of a medium-heavy type of ball while the NS can handle medium (well, longer mediums) to medium-heavy oil. Both hit like ... well, hard.

Both will take polish easily, but if you do use VERY, VERY little. A little polish make for significantly greater length on both balls. I prefer finer sanding grits, 2000 or if necessary 4000 grit.

Both NS and YB are  4" x 5", with the pin approx. 2 3/4" above the midline and next to ring finger, CG in the center of the grip.

I agree with "Panic" ... any of the three would be suitable for medium conditions; I would HIGHLY recommend contacting Galen at Legends with your "stats" (PAP, ball speed, revs, axis tilt and rotation ... if known) so that you get the maximum out of the ball that you decide on. The proper layout is very important to maximize the balls versatility for you and so that you get the best impression possible of this line of balls. If you get a good layout, proper cover adjustments and a properly located weight/balance hole will fine-tune the ball reaction ... I would also recommend getting a ball with 2.5-3 oz of top weight and a 2.5-3" pin to work with.
Hope that this helps and good luck !!!
