My highs haven't been nearly high enough.

With my high games and series over the years, I've always felt that I could have done better.  Even when I am throwing the ball as well as I possibly can, there are always those one or two shots that I throw poorly and they cost me.

Depends on the seed count in the baggie.

Gamewise: Yes
Average: NO
Series: Somewhat, but I still want an 800.

Game yes 300
Series yes 809
Average no I seem to have slump period every year that prevents me from the 220s and I end up between 213-215. I need to put a full good season together before im happy with that.

I think deep down, most bowlers are happy with the games that they have shot. You get a 150avg bowler that shoots his first 200, he is going to be happy. Happy until he sees that he has shot 10 200 games, That is when they start wanting more. Once you get a new high score, you are happy until you beat that. But what do you do after you have reached the 300 plateau? Then you start looking at series and trying to beat that one. Of course we all want to shoot more 300's, but for a single game, that is as high as you can get.

BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.

STRIKE ZONE, ONSLAUGHT, REVS, FLIP & PYRO. STAND 22 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND CRUSH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING!!!

Im happy with my high series of 826 but Im disappointed Ive yet to shoot a 300.  Ive only made the first 11 twice shooting a 298 both time.  It sucks cause it seems like everybody has got a 300 but me.  As far as my 800 goes its weird cause when I shot that my high series was only 710 and I still havent shot nothing over 750 except for that.

I'm barely aware of any of my open play scores except two 299s....

Only league or tournaments am I usually aware of!

I don't think I'll ever be happy with my highs you allways look at it later and say I could have done better. I finished my regular league with the highest average yet and I am happy with that so I'm going in right direction.

I wish I could count the "near" 700's I should have had simply because I missed a spare somewhere in the set. There are at least 100 sets between 675 and 699 in sanctioned leagues. Instead of 1 sanctioned 700, there should be 100 of them but I always seem to mess it up. For example, how do you shoot games of 279 or 278 this past 12 months and NOT have a 700? Crazy.

In open play or pot games I have had dozens and dozens of 700's. I just cannot figure out why I always come short. Here is an open play example. Last summer I shoot 278, 269 and then 155  for a 702!

I blew my 800 like this:

269, 278, 247=794

I had an open frame in the last game!

That is why I only bowled one PBA regional. My theory is this. It does not matter how many 300's, 800's or even 600's you shoot. It is consistently shooting 700's is how pros stay on top. A lot of pros have shot only a few 300's or an occasional 800, but they basically shoot 700 every 3 games.
