I was glad to see most of the equipment I have was not listed.  The only one was the Fury Pearl, and for me it is awesome.  I just recently drilled it up, but shot my high game of the season with it this past Sunday, a 268.

I can't recall a bowling ball I bought that I didn't like or considered a dud.

Dynothane Energy
Ebonite Total NV

Drilled both simple, pin above the right finger, cg in the palm, mb just right of the thumb. Rolls great on a lot of equipment but not these two. Dynothane rev-d and died. NV very skid snappy and unpredictable. Tried a lot of different surface combinations before  selling both away on ebay.

Storm's X-Factor RE-Loaded (I think that one was REALLY bad)
Brunswick's Smash Zone (Cannot control, it, handles less oil than expected)

Ebonite Total NV.
I shot by best series with the ball a few weeks after drilling it, and then it died a few weeks later.

Someone listed a Creature Solid. I'd have to say that was a match-up problem. I've had many good outings with that ball! I bought a used one, plugged it, slapped a RICO layout on it, polished it a bit, and went to town. That ball flies under the radar. Never got much publicity.

To me, the fit of the ball has always taken precedence over the ball's properties. Don't get me wrong...I have preferences and ball reaction is very important to me, but if the ball isn't drilled to where it fits like a glove thruout the delivery, that ball then becomes a problem to me and thought of as a bad ball. The reverse is also true.

Case in point:

Bought a Brunswick Command Zone used (when it was still in production) and loved it. Later had a bad drilling adjustment made to it, and for years it spent more time going back to various pro shops in an effort to get the ball to be comfortable. Eventually found a driller who was able to make a good adjustment to it, and it was so comfortable (and with good reaction on the lanes) that it became the source drilling from which all or at least most of my equipment was copied.

So that ball went (in my mind) from good to bad and back to good again, without any surface changes whatsoever.

And.... I still like my Complete Chaos.  It just isn't used for the same purpose for which it was originally intended. On dryer or broken down lanes, it's a small step up from plastic, and mine still hits hard.

V2 Strong R ball was red and green when it rolled down the lane it looked brown and it hit like that too.  The ball was tooo rolly and just couldnt find a shot for it.

I think that's funny.  For me "The One" is by far the best all around ball ever.  I think the Resurgence is not bad either, though not spectacular.  I'd call it "ok."
