Ball drilled full roller what to expect?
« on: April 28, 2018, 10:18:50 PM »
A friend of mine gave me a very good condition Storm Ride, but it's drilled with a full roller layout.  What kind of reaction can expect?

I just got it today and don't have any time to test it yet, so I'm curious as to what to expect.

Balls for full rollers are generally drilled to flare in the opposite direction than someone who tracks outside the thumb. For them it will flare away from the inside of the fingers and away from the thumb.

Assuming you are a 3/4 roller, if you track near the thumb it could flare back over the thumb hole.

A very well-rounded arc shape. If it's a strong ball,... a strong arc!!
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!

Still haven't thrown it but will try it during the practice before league tonight. I did resurface it and ended up with 1000 abralon.
