This is a good one for all to read. Were does it state in USBC rules that a bowler can push another bowler but if you throw a shoe you get banned from all USBC leagues and tournaments? One of are lovely bowlers decided to walk threw a pair of lanes with wet shoes on and was told walk the other way because we are still bowling. Rather then walk the other way the bowler decided to push me and say my feet are not wet. Then hands me his shoe. I took the shoe threw it away from me. Now im being threaten by leauge president if i don't apologize im being kicked off all leagues and banned from all USBC events. So one explain this to me? Any thoughts?

LOL! I would say this is retarded to get in fights in bowling but a couple of years ago a similar event occurred that I regret to this day. It was with a teammate and he said something that made me mad (this was right after my school VT got shot up), so I got up threw 3 of my 4 balls toward the floor near him. Everyone in the league was like 'wtf'. Then I stormed out of the place. I nearly cracked my balls but I made a promise never to do that again to myself. I'm a nice guy afterall.

I know you were joking, but the USBC isn't a stage wrestling event and if you beatdown your league president, you'd end up in jail, unlike RAW, which is fake! Just my $.02, Bruce

I haven't watched WWE for awhile. It turned to s*** last year and I got tired of seeing John Cena do the same stuff. They need to bring Hogan back or something. The wrestlers they have now are horrible. TNA sucks just as bad.

Or live theater with just 1 take that displays the story of good vs. evil in various ways in front of a live audience. Sorry that you prefer to watch sitcoms, shows, and movies that go through hundreds of takes and is edited for an elementary brain so you can understand clearly what is going on - sometimes with voice over, narration, or text at the bottom of the screen.

I don't watch anymore either but heard it discussed on radio. Thought it sounded familiar with the demand for an apology or you get sent to your room angle.

Well, yeah, because the topic was on throwing a shoe, which was a big story recently concerning President Bush...and had absolutely nothing to do with Obama...big stretch on your part...

Oh, and on a side note: not every Black person plays or likes Basketball, and plenty of White people do...so I'm guess Obama plays basketball because he as an individual enjoys it, not because of any genetic predisposition to do so...

If it were me, I would talk to some of the people in the area there that night and have them sign something stating they saw the other person push when this all occurred.

Once you get some signatures, I would then schedule a meeting with the league president. I would simply go into that meeting trying to get the issue resolved. If you have to apologize, fine, let it be known that you will once the other person offers the same back to you for getting physical with you.

If the Pres thinks that shouldn't be done or that the onus is all on you for what you did, then....if it were me.....I would inform the Pres that you plan to file 2 grievances with the USBC. One for the other individual for getting physical with you. After all, you've got stuff signed by others that state they saw you get pushed. The other would be against the President for verbally abusing you....in the form of a threat...over this whole situation.

If this doesn't get him/her to back off....I would be very surprised!!

Why do so many people try to take comments that are made and turn them racist. The comparison of the shoe being thrown at Bush happened in the Middle East. President Obama recently made the comment that he was removing the Bowling lanes in the White House to put in a Basketball Court. Both were true statements, maybe I am just naive in my thinking.
