Bowling hand update - joint/arthritic pain
« on: February 01, 2017, 02:05:58 PM »
For those who know about my arthritic or painful joints on my hands, more on my right... well, I started taking Turmeric supplements: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DBTFO98/ref=sr_ph_1_s_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1485978216&sr=sr-1&keywords=joint+pain

I've been doing this for almost a week. I take two pills twice a day, not what is recommended on the bottle. Well, I am happy to report that this stuff works!!!

I wake up without pain and I have full function of my hand. Not stiff and painful. I could hold the tooth brush in the mornings! During the day at work, I have no pain at all and my flexibility is back. Driving home, my hand don't go numb from holding or shifting the stick.

Yesterday, I took the 8lbs medical sand bag 8" sq., similar to the training aid sold online, and I was able to cup my hand underneath and take a full swing without pain or dropping the sand bag. Prior to taking the supplements, the bag would fall off my hand due to pain as my swing passed my hips. I could not hold on to it unless I took a short swing.

On Sunday, I bowled 6 or 7 games. Then when I got home, I cut shapes using the scissors for my 3 year daughter. In the past, the base of my thumb would be so painful that I can't use the scissors. My hand would be stiff as well.

I just thought I'd pass this on. I know many use OTC medication for inflammation and pain, maybe this supplement would be a better choice.

Congratulations my brother! Glad to know you are one of the blessed ones to have found this out! I have been using turmeric spice for about 6 months now, with great success as well!

It works a thousand times better than any glucosamine tablet I'd ever taken before! And I get my spice straight off the grocery shelf at our local grocery store.

I read about this on a natural healing foods website and gave it a try. Now, I'm telling all my friends as well. My knees have never felt better, and I'm able to bowl painless without having to drop three or four tabs of ibuprofen!

Seriously, Turmeric? I have not heard of that before. Think it might help with a sciatic nerve issue?

I do a bunch of exercises everyday to keep it in check currently.

I got a water ionizer (Kangen water) for sale, only $4000 dollars.  Tons and tons of health benefits.

After all, "I drink it daily and can testify to it......I wouldn't be able to bowl without it".  Don't listen to the naysayers.  They're just haters.   ;)  :P

In all reality, one of my best friends has parents who used to buy this type of stuff from the ole door-to-door salesman.  They spent a TON on all of it and I will never forget some of the stories....

It's sold in grocery stores everywhere! About $3 a bottle in my neck of the woods. It sure solved my issues. Nothing beats a failure, except a TRY! I'm just saying!

Mustard has turmeric doesn't it? Can I just eat a lot of hot dogs with mustard and onion and get the same effect?

Of course, eating a lot of hot dogs with mustard and onion could be one of the reasons for my sciatic nerve issue in the first place.  ;D

I work in the medical field and I don't like taking meds. I do take blood pressure pills even though I have great lab results.....And another thing I've noticed taking my blood pressure the last 4 days....

It's lowered even more. 112-120 systolic and 58-70 diastolic. Heart rate 65-70.

The curcumin they say helps arteries, lower blood cholesterol, and blood pressure. I'm not saying this supplement is doing it, but with my BP meds, my blood pressure was in the 120-135 systolic and 70-80 diastolic range. just something I noticed, so I'm not saying it really does...

my current doctor does both western and "eastern" medicine - an Assymetrical vodoo dr. I'll see what he says next week.
