I talk to my son all the time about morality.  I'm sure he hears this language all the time even though he goes to a Cathloic high school.  But the language is not tolerated in our house and he respects that. Time and place for everything.

Pussification is not a word usually associated with me.  Click on the link and scroll down toward the bottom and you'll see me and Miss Easyrider and my blue bagger at the Easyrider Inviational event in Kansas City, MO.  Double click on the picture to enlarge.

If you are going to tell us you don't curse or use bad words in league I will call you a liar. If you don't want your son to hear that don't let him watch t.v. problem solved. If he plays video games take those away to.

Mainzer,

I don't use bad language while bowling.  Call me a liar if you must.  Have a wrench slip and wrap a knuckle while building motorcycles for Easyrider events, I might say darn or shoot.  Bowling, I would spend an extra second or two at the foul line, smile turn and go get my spare ball or sit down depending on the situation.

But in all honestly, if you want to get in my face and use colorful language, I know a little about the art.  Growing up I learned how to play the dozens and fight when I lost.

Wait a minute!  I thought we were talking about a seven year old daughter having her eardrums scorched by the offending word.  We are actually talking about a boy in high school bleeding from the ears as a result of Simard's comment?!  You have honestly got to be kidding.  Let the parents of the littles ones worry about them Nicanor.  The high school kids are swearing as they drink from the liquor bottle they stole from the cabinet, smoking cigars, and playing poker with a porn movie on in the background!  You don't want to know what they are doing when they are out on a date!  Pull your head out of the sand, dude.

Well said, that summed up high school but I didn't need to go on a date to get a girl in bed, couch, chair or floor

Easy solution, mute the TV and play some Catholic rock on your CD player.

I'm sure they all heard what was said between two people who were conversing on the approach.

They don't broadcast the player mics over the speakers.

I'm 16. I watch bowling every week. And I have a pretty vast collection of bowling of stuff from 70s-90s. Bad language isn't seen in that much if any. But, no one can say they haven't let a f-bomb slip or damn. Myself I say it under my breath in a whisper, but I don't think anyone can get mad at a guy cussing. For the most part, be glad it isn't Eugene McCune.
