i hate left handers....

yesterday was a tournement at my home house.... i was bowling with a lefty.... there were only two leftys..... we bowled eight games and switched lanes after each one.... by the end of the 8th i had went through my entire bag.. and the left hander i was bowling with used the same freaking ball on the same freaking line the entire day... it's just not fair!....well.. i guess it is somewhat fair if you are like 6 times better than his but still!

thank you.  Right handed bowlers lately seem to complain about everything.  You guys have done everything to keep lefthanded bowlers from winning any tourneys or anything.  So you whinning about a lefty exacting a little revenge serves you right.  I am tired of watching right handed bowlers refuse to bowl until they have twenty boards to hit and a flood in the middle just in case they miss.  GET BETTER

-I am just aggrevated after being told that if lefthanders had the same shot as right handed bowlers that we would never win anything.  

First this comes from a redneck who throws a puma and a white dot.  He says that the puma is the most advanced ball on the market.  UHM.......Sure

This is the people they allow to bowl now.

I think on certain conditions, righties have advantages and on others lefties have advantages... just how it is.  On a normal house shot with tons of oil inside and little outside, lefties have the advantage.  Basically anyone can strike on a fresh house shot.  Throw the ball out somewhere and watch it come back.  Less bowlers on the left side, this type of reaction holds up longer.  BUT, when you bowl on a flatter condition (sport or whatever), the advantage has to go to the righties.  The extra bowlers cause the pattern to break down a little...you all of a sudden find a little more area while the lefties are still bowling on a rather fresh shot.  

I personally like the challenge of being able to read and adjust to lanes.  And if it really get too bad and you just can't take it any longer, there really is nothing preventing you (at least I don't think so) from switching over to the left side

That is a ridiculous blanket statement.

I know a lefty, that says the opposite:

"Lefty's are better than righty's, as we can square up, righty's can't."

Depends on the experience, and the talent of the bowlers. If you're talking about a house hack, fine...other wise it's pretty insulting, and tiring.

You just need a little cheese, with your whine.

I too get tired of hearing this from righties.  If you have a left hand, then bowl with it and stop your complaining or why not just learn to adjust.

I’ve once bowled on a team that was all lefties and we won the tournament! Needless to say the righties didn’t have much to say about that. We took away their excuse!!! Did we have to make adjustments, of course but it wasn’t any big deal.

On average I would have to say that if a lefty has a shot the shot very seldom leaves, but if we don’t there isn’t anyone to help us open our side up like the right-handers do. Then we have to make adjustments to that by going straighter, changing ball speeds, hand positions, tilt or axis rotations or balls.

Again it all goes back to how the lanes were setup. Most of the righties that are complaining are house hacks (my opinion) anyway. If they were as good as they think they are then they would have found away to adjust. You guys sound just like those damned Democrats, whining all the time about something not being fair!!!

I have an acquaintance that can throw traditional righty or backup with his right hand up the left side...getting the so called lefty advantage.

I've seen him bowl an 816 in a tourney with a 300 up the left side.

That was about 5 years ago.

I asked him when he decides to bowl right or left.  He says I bowl on the left when the shot is better.  8 times out of 10 that I've seen him the last few years he was on the right!

Hmmmm!?

I have nothing against lefties, other than fluff-up-five, merkin salesmen with fewer revs than Scott Devers.  Now they should be exiled to Lebanon.

I think I'll bring up the double-edged sword aspect.  Sure, if the pattern is there and there is only one lefty he won't have to move a ton.  BUT, what if there is absolutely no shot to start out with?  He'll be waiting game after game to get a line, while the right side of the lane will break down quickly and the righties will have a better time scoring...

Yes, a_ak57 was defending lefties, where their condition may not change for the better if not ideal to begin with.  To that, I say lefties should "deal with it or shut up" instead of whine about how their shot doesn't "open up" the way it might on the right side.  This is in response to SuperSaw's reply that right-handers should "deal with it or shut up" when lefties DO have a great shot to the hole and never have to make a adjustment (sir dyno's initial post.)
