kinda early but ball of the year subject
« on: September 17, 2012, 10:59:15 PM »
I know it is still early in the year and lots of new equipment still has yet to hit the market. But from the current eqiupment out this year, what do you think has the best run for ball of the year?
You need to compete for something greater than just winning.

Who the hell cares?  What is ball of the year in your hands might be an absolute turd in mine and vice-versa.

i have seen tons of hell raisers sell as well. many people are loving that it gives them so much hook. besides it, i would say roto grip defiant. storm lagged in high performance this year but that modern marvel was a big win around here. i dont know much about 900, amf, and motiv because not to many people around my region use them. but buddies of mine in new york say thrash was a huge success..... i cant wait to see what the bowling companies have up there sleeves with all this new equipment that is just coming out.

+1000 Everybody throws Storm where I'm from, and Storm equipment has never rolled worth a damn for me.

If you don't like the topic, then don't respond with negative junk like this. Some do like to know what balls others think are good because they just might work for them.

There is no such thing.  To suggest one ball is head and shoulders above the rest is naive.

You don't like my response?  Ignore it.  Don't reply to it.  Others agreed with my viewpoint, call them out on it too.  You won't though, that would take guts.

long gone daddy. the whole point of the topic isnt to argue who is right and who is wrong. it is simply to talk about what current balls of 2012 has had the most success for bowlers. if you dont want to have a legitimate conversation with other bowlers on why they believe the ball they mentioned has a chance to run for the title "ball of year", then dont say anything and go argue about politics or something..
