League Average
« on: November 08, 2007, 05:53:46 AM »
What is your league average?  My Monday scratch league average is 207 after 11 weeks.  I'm sad to say I am currently below average at 206.

I am a sub now since I retired from bowling.  My average in the official sheets is 206.  I usually average around 210 or so in leagues though.

Three different local houses my average is up 10 pins over last year. last year was my first year back after taking 3 years off between the end of high school and focusing on college. Having a very strong year to start.

Averages as of last week...

Tuesday night - 229, on synthetic lanes, one of the easiest shots I've ever seen and phenomenal carry.

Saturday night - 215, on old, beat up wood lanes, it's basically a second shift league but they at least throw down a little extra head oil for us just before we bowl.  Tons of carrydown and the track area gets very over/under in a hurry, and it's the hardest place I've ever seen to carry the 10 pin.

167 after 7 weeks.  I'm normally a 170 average, so I'm a little below average right now.

213... and that's over-inflated... That shot at this house is considered one of the hardest around here, but it just suites my style and I roll well on it. So I know that my average is more than what it would be at any other house around, but at least I'm honest

Last year's book average was 178, but I am currently (new season just started) behind my expectations with about 170 - kind of slump because I have to work a lot and can not attend to training frequently.
