Seen that a lot around here. Once even had a guy demand his ball be replaced due to the thumb pitch not being perfect after drilling. He refused to throw a plugged thumbhole ball, so we got him another one, and plugged the thumb on it. Sold the plugged one to a guy who proceeded to shoot 300/820 with it. The original guy had the nerve to come back and say that we screwed up his "good" ball, took it away from him, resold it to a "friend", and replaced it with a "bad" one because we didn't like him. Really happened.
Two of my 300's, and my only 800, have been with balls that had some plug in them. Ain't nothing wrong with a little bit of plug material, as long as it's done right.
