Need drilling help!
« on: October 16, 2006, 09:17:30 AM »
I need help from you guys who know how to set up or drill balls. I have two balls I am going to have drilled.

One is a Roto Grip RS1
Specs:  4-4.5 inch pin
        2.50 oz. of top weight

The other is a Storm Power Charge Pearl
Specs:  3-3.5 inch pin
        3.72 oz of top weight

I have decided to drill one of them with a basic label leverage drilling. ( A drilling that always works well for me.)

The second ball, I am going to have drilled to go very long but still have some finish on the backend.

Any suggestions on which ball would better fit each setup I have decided on?

Thanks for any help you can offer!!

Looking at your profile, I would say drill that RS1 for the length/flip due to your slow ball speed (and not to mention the great pin-out that you have). Put the Pin 5.5-6" from your PAP (this should put it well above your fingers) and place the mass bias about 60-70 degree range. If you feel like you need to smooth out the backend place a weight hole on your PAP and let it rip!
