Pros with high track?
« on: February 01, 2008, 01:09:02 PM »
Maybe a stupid question, but sometimes people talk about high track being a bad thing.  Just wondering if any pros track unusually high?  Thanks,

Zach

The only ones I can think that might would be Walter Ray, Michael Haugen.....well that's about it.

the picture of robert smiths cheetah ball on brunswick insiders looks like he starts off with a high track but then goes to like a extremely low track haha.

From how I've heard Duke's release described, I would *guess* he tracks high.

High trackerss generally have less tilt and more forward roll which is a geat thing. Why do you think Walter Ray has won so many times playing basically the same line and style.

Most of the pros are in the 5"+ range.  The guys with <5" PAPs are the exception, not the rule.  Sean Rash is 4 1/2" or so, but even Ryan Shafer is about 5" (remember, tilt is not exactly related to PAP).   Steve Jaros is pushing 6", as is PDW.  WRW is 6"+.
