Robert Mushtare 292???
« on: July 21, 2009, 02:16:13 AM »
So I decided to check his bowl.com membership to see what hes averaging and how many honor scores he now has. Apparently he now owns a 292. So not only can he strike on command and shoot 900 but also elect to get 2 pins when having the first 11 strikes lol. Normally I dont post anything about him but wanted to see what some of you thought about this.

So you're probably the same person that thinks Hideo Nomo was a great pictcher because he had 2-no-hitters, yet will fully discount the fact that he gave up like 304 grand-slams?

Shocking that there has never been a 292 but he has one.

Whatever else is going on with this score, I just wanted to make a point on this: There has been a 292 shot before (quite a few, in fact). Either BTM, BJI, etc. had a feature on this a couple of years ago, sort of a Mythbusters-type thing. There are a few scores that have either not yet been recorded or shot just once or twice (I forget which ones) but 292 is on the books already.

I can confirm that the 292 was also prebowled. Just in case anyone wanted clarification.

He can bowl 292 with his eyes closed. Also pre-bowl another 16 set of 900's in 2 weeks.

They should remove PA and let this kid bowl Pre-Bowl in team USA

The guy has only 2 800's and 2 300's since his last perfect 900 series which was almost 3 1/2 years ago. I may be wrong but aren't young bowlers supposed to get better as time goes by.

Where's all the 300's and 800's now that people are actually keeping an eye on him when he bowls? Don't get me wrong. The guy must be a good bowler but I think he's a better liar.

He actually hasn't had an honor score since they changed the rule that prebowling scores will not count towards honor score achievements.

What a coincidence.  He does have balls though to face the HBO camera and everyone watching and say he isn't lying and he did infact bowl those 5 900s.

Not to take anything away from him, but I've seen him bowl, and bowled in a tournament with him a few years ago... I wasn't really impressed.

I think he is lying also but did you see the guy that actually bowled a 900.  His form was atrocious.  Looking at his approach I would never bet that he could throw 36 shots the same.  Mushtare says he has bowled 5 900's ..that should be skill. He can't be that lucky.  So lets see him do something for real. Like I said.. the USBC and PBA should be holding this guy up on a pedestal.. They should have a take on Mushtare king of the hill open or something.  Unless they know he is complete BS too and didn't think anyone would ever lack the integrity and make a mockery of the sport's most coveted series score.

The kids a joke if he had that many 9s he would be on tour right? but he is not. He would have honor scores other than the prebowled ones correct? but he does not.

Yeah and I made a few match plays in regionals and cashed in a couple of national stops.....doesn't mean Im remotely capable of shooting 5 900s....or even 2

It's just ridiculous to even humor the idea.

Look at his results for Junior gold and that is just among kids.  He is the worst liar in the history of sports.  He wishes he could pre bowl JOG so he could make the cut.

I shot a 900 once. Then a few days later, the assn. called and viewed the replay and apparently I fouled on the 36th shot so I only got credit for an 890. LMAO, sorry, I couldn't resist myself

There is only 1 TRUE 900 shooter, Jeremy Sonnenfeld. And if I recall, his back to back to back 300s were on 3 different pairs.
