Robert Mushtare 292???
« on: July 21, 2009, 02:16:13 AM »
So I decided to check his bowl.com membership to see what hes averaging and how many honor scores he now has. Apparently he now owns a 292. So not only can he strike on command and shoot 900 but also elect to get 2 pins when having the first 11 strikes lol. Normally I dont post anything about him but wanted to see what some of you thought about this.

What about these guys that bowled a 900 series?

Leo Bentley Lorain, Ohio March 26, 1931

Joe Sargent Rochester, N.Y. 1934

Jim Murgie Philadelphia, Pa. Feb. 4, 1937

Bob Brown Roseville, Calif. April 12, 1980

Glenn Allison LaHabra, Calif. July 1, 1982

John Strausbaugh York, Pa. July 11, 1987

Glenn Allison was officially the first one to shoot 900. And hopefully i may be bowling with his team next year in Reno as my friend already does. It would be sooo awesome if i actually get to bowl.

Of all the 900's ever shot, how many of those guys are on tour????

Get a grip!

The kids a joke if he had that many 9s he would be on tour right? but he is not. He would have honor scores other than the prebowled ones correct? but he does not.

In 1987 John Strausbaugh shot a 900 in a tournament moving pairs after every game. Pretty impressive I must say!

quote:
I shot a 900 once. Then a few days later, the assn. called and viewed the replay and apparently I fouled on the 36th shot so I only got credit for an 890. LMAO, sorry, I couldn't resist myself

There is only 1 TRUE 900 shooter, Jeremy Sonnenfeld. And if I recall, his back to back to back 300s were on 3 different pairs.

Well I didn't see the article, and still don't when I looked.  Bottomline is, the guy is regarded as a fraud and a liar.

If you want to stand up for him, then do it, but most here and outside of his circle of friends think the same thing.

I would give him or anyone 10 shots at chopping 2 off the full rack and doubt they could do it, yet he did it after 11 in a row?  Of course he had to do it on purpose.

Get a grip and let the thread die.

Isn't the topic of this post the ability to throw a 292?

I thought so...

No, the topic was what we thought about his alleged 292...

But, since he shot 5 900s, he's had to have done it. It's just as rare...
*sarcasm*

That's what I thought.

Yeah but this kid claims to have racked like what ten of them know...prebowled to so nobody seen it...but trust me I did it? I don't think so. What are the odds of having more than one?

Shouldnt he be putting up 8s each week in that house if he can see his taps coming? Just sounds fishy to me.

Thanks for making my point btw How many Exempt pros have shot ONE 9? You beleive this dude had more than one?

most people if they take 2 out of the rack it is the 6-9 for righties and 4-8 for lefties---ball duckhooks between 3-10 or 2-7 and chops it

sounds like the post is about more than his 292s....

The young fellow has an 859 in "regular" league.
Most of the guys I know that have 850+s are pretty decent to much better than that.  They are also a different breed of cat.....but most are not on the pro tour.

Some people are just lacking in the brain department.  Bowling Center is on a Army base, daddy doesn't own it or run it.  The military owns and operates that facility.
