I didn't see how he finished the 3rd game...clearly spares are a mystery to him, but that strike ball is strong..was impressed with the 4 bagger in the first game. I've been dismissive of T.O in football, just wish he would play football and not talk so much..gained alot of respect for him tonight. His first game would be what I would optimistically expect should I ever get to bowl nationals. And Tom Clark has pretty good form too..wow..

I think his last game was a 168.  He went back to the Oath and threw it better for the most part.  Problem was he still couldn't make simple spares or the 2 baby splits later in the game.  Overall, he shot in the 430's.

Tom Clark was pretty impressive.  He was using a Sync and throwing it over the 6th arrow in the 3rd game.

Was I the only person who heard a person shot 299 and they didnt even put the camera on the man -- That is very tragic... Any professional that isnt playing his sport is just ordinary joe to me...

What do you expect? Them to pick up their entire equipment and move it down to a given pair because someone is bowing a good game? and when that guy gets the pressure from it, throws his entire game off?

Besides, the cameras and equipment they have set up are stationary. It would take a good 30 - 45 minutes just to disassemble it before even moving it.

That 299 must have been on the "easy shot" you thought TO was gonna be on!

He ended up with 1508 for all events. Best set was 530 in singles...

He wasn't even the lowest man on that team either, FWIW.

They'll have video of it after the fact . . like they do for every other honor score.  They film the 10th frame of a lot of them.  I had the front 9 in Reno in 2011, and they had a camera out and a few reps standing back there by the time I got up in the 10th.  They were in no way intrusive or distracting though.

Heres a world class athlete that has some celebrity status that loves bowling and is trying to help promote the game.  Two thumbs up to Terrell Owens and I hope he continues to help promote the game.  This is a good thing for bowling any way you look at it.

Whoopee! Another side show by the USBC!  Just what serious bowlers want to see.  I'd rather watch a game of darts by Mike Tyson.  How Low can you go??

If you like to watch "washed -up" "stars" hi-jack another sport, so be it.  I prefer watching real stars perform in their chosen sport that they have worked tirelessly to be their best in.

Wow.. I would like to add that new people coming into the sport is a good thing, regardless. I disliked T.O. the football player-flat out diva. He is taking the sport (not the game) seriously, working with high level coaches, being involved with the PBA outside the Chris Paul charity tourny. He has a convert in me. No need to treat T.O.'s involvement as tho it's an alien invasion.

Whether it's T.O. or anyone else, bringing attention to the sport of bowling is nothing but a good thing. The likes and dislikes of a person have nothing to do with what we need in the game, what we do need is the attention that person brings to it.
