1) I've learned that carpal tunnel release, if rehabilitated correctly, will not affect your bowling and needs to be welcomed if it's necessary.

2) I've learned that gravity, not muscle, should start the downswing.

3) Coverstock strength will allow for recovery from the cleanest release.  Why grab?

4) My hand position at release is exceptional.  How I get to that point is a completely different story.

5) I'm not nearly done with making my techinque better.  It will be a lifelong journey I plan to enjoy trying, and failing, for the betterment of my game.

Coming up the back of the ball and having it burn up is better than spinning it and having no control of the backend.

I learned that I was not keeping my hand behind/under the ball enough. I have since adjusted my grip slightly and have greatly increased my rev rate now that I am "palming" the ball.

My mental game sucks. I need to work on not being controlled by superstitions and things of that nature.

^This has really been a problem of mine.

I have also learned I need to come up with a new pre shot routine that I do everytime I step up to throw the ball.

That dropping from 16lb to 15lb was something I should have done a long time ago.

that i need to be more consistent in my release and timing

And that they should have made the Cell pearl a weaker ball, so that I could use it more often.

I learned that being in a car accident and sessions with a chiropractor sometimes help and yet sometimes hinder my bowling depending on how sore I am after being worked on.

I wish this season would end already.
