Which manufacturer would you choose?
« on: December 15, 2011, 11:26:01 AM »
During league last night, we all got into a heated debate on what company would be the best to build an arsenal around. I was intrigued by how many people chimed in so I figured I would post the question on here.

This is a totally hypothetical question. Its not whether you should or shouldn't stick with one company.

If you were to build an arsenal with one company and one company only, who would you choose?

I picked Track only because of the numbering system.

The topic said for one company and every ball that comes out of that plant! @Ryan, I'm aware that 900 Global doesn't own, but produces the other company balls mentioned, I was just making a reference, cause the OP said one company. Most staffers for companies can't use the other brand, except for the touring pros. I can't use DV8 even though Brunswick owns both. My friend is on Roto Grips staff and he can't use Storm, etc.... All of the companies make great products and I've used/tested most on the market and I just happen to pick Brunswick, cause it matches my style better!!!

Train a child up in the way they should go and when they are old they will do some "Damn Good Bowling", be a "DV8" and not turn from it, besides bowling starts with a Big B!

The opinions expressed are solely those of the writer and not of Brunswick Corporation.

If the Ebonite line (Columbia/Hammer/track/Ebonite) is not an acceptable answer, then I would go with Columbia 300.  The C300 line matches up better with my game.  However, I have had a lot of good luck with the Storm VG Nano once I polished it.  On real dry lanes, I like to use my Bruswick Avalanche Perl.  Most of the people in my house really like Storm and Roto Grip.  My wife loves here 900 Global Raw profit.  There just is NO right answer for all bowlers.  Remember, unless the company is sending you a check every time you bowl, then the only brand loyalty you should have is in the scores that come with the balls.

If pressed to use from the line of just one company, I would say Motiv would be my first choice followed by Columbia. Ebonite would be in the discussion also.

I have been impressed with the new DV8 line from what i have seen and wouldn't mind building an arsenal around them
