Reports on Psycho seem to indicate it acts more like a polished solid thana polished pearl so it should offer a lot of control.
The Ogre Pearl is already famous for that: particle pearl type of reaction with small amount of flare - strongish coverstock for a pearl. Not big hooker because of lack of flare but strong hitting.
The Gladiator Pearl falls into a similar category but more overall hook (than the OP) with lower RG and higher flare. Safer overall pearl than the Ogre Pearl for us less than stellar bowlers. Very consistent - might replace the Heist and the Creature solid.
Kinetic Pearl is similar beast - more control and much less skid/snap than your average pearl. Not cheap but not expensive.
Rapid Fire Pearl - initial reports are very skid/snap.
Rapid Fire solid and Track Tantrum are two solids that act more like control pearls.
Visionary AMB Bronze Centaur is a pretty amazing piece so far for me. It acts kind of like a particle pearl: lots of control with a driving but non-flippy backend. Just starting using one and am happily surprised so far.
RG Venus: technically a particle pearl with highish RG and low flare, but strong reacting for light to medium-light oil - great ball. Control with medium backend, kind of like a Bronze Centaur for lighter oil.
I believe the Code is a solid/pearl hybrid or combination. (Just a reminder)
Cherry Or Emerald Vibe: the reports on these balls is not exaggerated. Emerald is stronger so you may not like it. The Blue Vibe is technically a solid but most people thought it acts like a controlled pearl. (been playing with one for a couple of weeks now and it's a greta ball). Cherry and Emerald are definitely pearls.
