is morich in trouble
« on: April 05, 2009, 09:49:37 AM »
was in my pro shop the other day, and the proprietor told me that brunswick no longer wanted to produce morich balls.  That I should switch to another brand, or expand as they may not be around.  I order all of my balls from him, so he makes the profit.  Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Are there any medium to large business in this country that are not in
economic trouble?

wouldn't surprise me but someone else could pick MoRich up if Big b dumps them though to. The E-Z Rev is a tough core to handle. Really not meant for the THS without a control drill pattern.

Vanguard was the core though couldnt get a dud if drilled right with that core. Also they will probably go to 900g like everybody else..... IF that is true.

I love the vanguard core, but have really come around to the ez rev core.  I would be sad to see them go.

I too, like the Vanguard over the EZ Rev core. I just hope someone picks MoRich up. Considering the mislabeled specs and poured pins, a move may not be a bad thing.

I know big B was having this issue I didnt know it went to Mo's stuff also it would make sense though as they are made in the same plant. I have never had a issue with poorly marked gear from Mo

TDK do you know something we don't?

I am not to bad with Storms covers, I have had bad carry with Stroms balls though.

Mainzer,
A certain manufacture is looking at restructuring their bowling company (hint)/brand name. In 30-60 days if details get worked out a semi-major annoucement will take place. I personally will be disppointed in the annoucement but the brand may be better in the long run. Only time will tell.

Have a great day

Give me a Virtual Gravity cover wrapped around an EZ-REV core and boom, early rolling strong angularity continuation.

They pretty much already had that with the Ntense, but I think that'd make it more versatile!

Better yet, give me a Break Point coverstock on an EZ-REV core, unstopabble.  To be honest, if the switch happens, I think it's for the best.  The only reason I like Big B covers is because they absolutely last forever, never had a problem yet.  But I don't think they create enough friction on the lane and rely too much on the strength of the core.

Heard from some brunswick ball staffers both pro shop and regional that their sales rep had informed them that their balls might start having new shells, made just a TAD further north of the border.
