Everything from the color of this bowling ball to the way it reads the lane is absolutely AWESOME!
I drilled my Oracle Vision just like my Apocalypse, I figured this would give me a good idea as to what this ball does since it is a modified version of the Apocalypse core. Pin 5 1/2 above the bridge Mass Bias Strong 1 inch from thumb. The Oracle Vision comes machine sanded out of the box which is a very fine, smooth surface texture.
I left it out of the box and could not move far enough left, it really read the lane early. What I liked though is that it read early and didn't just hook stop, it continued hooking without rolling out and still crushed the pins even if it was brooklyn. I polished the ball with Storm Diamond Gloss and managed to hit the head pin square in the face. I was afraid that if I got too deep the particles wouldn't allow the ball to get around the corner. Boy was I wrong! The deeper I got and the more I sent the ball the more it screamed back and blew the rack.
The Oracle Vision is great on heavy to medium conditions out of the box and can be used on a wide range of medium conditions when polished. This is the ball that stays in your hand all night long because it is actually fun to throw, hits the pins harder than anything you own and reads a wider range of lanes than anything you've ever owned before.

Saw PBA Senior Tour staffer Gene Vincent throw this over the weekend on a tournament house shot - don't know how he had it drilled but saw early roll, nice arc shape, smooth continuous backend motion. I have an RS-1 and a Silver Streak and am adding this to my arsenal - including the new Roto Grip spare ball with the tire, very cool.

love this ball! 15 lbs 3.0" pin 3.40 oz top weight, Mass Bias is in the (b) position on reaction drill chart in the box. 5" pin from PAP.  It really opens the lane for me. Reads the midlane very good, holding a good line. With a good Snap on the backends. I could play as deep as I wanted too, with no worry of it not coming back hard. On a 5 man house shot 38 feet. My games were 247-226-256 for a 729 series. The best thing of all was, NO 10 PINS!!!!

Roto Grip does it again, adds one great ball to the line.  Drilled two of these balls up with one to play outside and the other to arc.  Found that both drillings read the front with a very smooth reaction, gets threw the mid lanes really clean, and great strong backends all the way threw the pins.  Wonderful ball for med-high oil.  Haven't done anything to the surface so far as they both worked so great out of the box.  League bowling stays in my hand all night as the lanes breakdown as it really reads the lanes great.  One stacked with the pin just above the fingers, the other with the pin just below the fingers and the CG Kicked out towards PAP.  Used on the PBA A pattern outside with good sucess.

I have not had a ball that from the first toss continued to impress...UNTIL NOW!!!!

I drilled the ball 5 1/2" pin x  MB strong. A little tamer than my usual test drill.  After throwing the ball I am salivating over drilling another one more aggressive (not that I will have a place to use it). This is the first ball I have ever used that could transition from Sport to House shot with no cover adjustment necessary.

Midlane motion is very consistent.  Strong and readable...very easy to adjust with.

Very easy to read. Pearl cover is dark enough that it will not confuse those who have trouble reading pearls. The strong core matches very well with the aggressive coverstock. This ball can build confidence.

House Conditions - Strong motion through the midlane.  Devastating continuation through the pins.  Pin action was outrageous. (Airborne messenger left me breathless) Light hits threw MULTIPLE messengers!!!  It did not matter where I was standing.  I could get the ball to return for everywhere on the House wall.

Sport Patterns - I used the Vision on a very dense 35ft pattern.  My first thought is that the ball would be way way too strong (uncontrollable) for the amount of launch/skid and backend this pattern would offer. I was very wrong.  I moved out to 5 and the ball instead of exploding off of the pattern gave me a strong but easy read. A testament to the versatility of this ball.

I saw Dan Smith of Roto Grip throw the ball on a 50ft Sport Pattern.  He was the only one who could get the ball to change direction.

This ball is significantly better than any other Particle ball on the market! This ball is significantly better than most strong reactive pieces!

I am very sold on this ball.

I drilled one for a customer whose only complaint was that he no longer had to baby the Vision like he had his previous equipment. he said the pin carry scared him at first.  He wasn't used to tossing pins around.

I drilled one of these that had a 3"-4" pin and 3.0 TW to start. The layout I used in this ball was a small shift (1 1/2") with the MB in a strong position. The extra hole was placed 1" inside my PAP.

This ball is like a Pure Fuel on steroids. Very hard to tell this ball is a pearl particle. This layout works great from the deep inside angle.

Good on PBA patterns B & C. For Pattern A and D, you would probably need a weaker layout if your a bowler with alot of hand.

ABC NATIONALS SECRET WEAPON

Roto Grip has introduced the next major breakthrough in coverstocks.  
As advertised the Oracle Vision does exactly what it was built for. It's strong footprint completely CONTROLS the front part of the lanes. You noticed I emphasized controls.  The ball moves easily though the heads without squirting while staying in control.  It's at this time when the ball defies logic. Whenever you have this much control over the front part of the lane you could pretty much guarantee either a loss of power or a mellow arcing return.  However once this ball reaches the break it's as strong as any pearl reactive on the market!  

If your planning on buying a ball prior to ABC Nationals, look no further.  This will be your secret weapon.  Use it straight out of the box for team,  add
a little shine for singles and doubles.  

Keep the Vision handy.  This will be a mainstay going forward and probably your favorite out of the bag.  I would add more but I rather go use it!
