First of all, thanks to Hank and Roger at Roto-Grip for all of the help they have given to me. What a ball has come up with. Drilled the Vision 4 1/4" by 3 1/2" with pin slightly above the finger level, extra hole 5 1/2" Tested the ball on two conditions; 39 ft. Typical Christmas tree house shot, buffed to 44 ft.; a modified sport league shot which is about 120 units outside and about 60 units 12 to 12, just ugly.
On the house pattern, the Vision allowed me to open the lane up even more than the Apocolypse about 4 and 2 deeper. I felt that the Vision rolled through the oil, read the midlane not overracting to the dry, and produced powerful recovery while keeping the pins nice and low for optimum pin carry. Tested for 10 games on that pattern, while the heads started to get chopped up, the Vision still cleared the heads clean (with the proper adjustments) and kept on hitting.
I have used the ball twice so far in the tough condition league (league only has three 200 averages in a 22 4-person team league). The Vision has given me the most hook/finish reaction that I have had all year in that league. Rolled through and read the oil like the Fear Factor and Ultimate Inferno, but still had enough left to react strong and hit on the backend, where the other two quit on the end. First two nights produced 688, 697; high set in the league both nights, high game of the night both times which overall produced two very, very profitable nights.
If you haven't gotten your Vision, stop by your local pro-shop and inquire about the ball because it should be a benchmark ball for alot of bowlers.
