What current ball would be the best replacement for a Dark Thunder? Thanks

Are you talking about the Black Thunder?

I am going to say either a roto grip nomad solid or a storm 2furious with the nomad being just a bit stronger over all.

Bowling is fun, enjoy it, don't hate it

I see, I would also say the Nomad Solid would be your closest replacement, Storm really doesn't have a solid ball with that really good weight block right now.  I always have had success with that particular weight block, ie. Eraser PBT and Hy-Road.

Really? Storm doesn't have a solid ball with a good weight block? How about the Virtual Gravy? Invasion? Reign of Fire?

I would say the Reign of Fire would be the ball for the op. It is in the Thunder line and has similar characteristics on today oil as the Dark Thunder did. Might have to tame it down a bit with the layout if you want a milder motion.

Good luck.

Nomad Solid is still very good and very underrated amongst the general bowling public.

I just meant that particular weight block, love the cores in the VG and ROF, add in the 2 Furious too.

I'd still have to say the Nomad Solid would be a better choice than the ROF.  Just knock the polish off the Nomad.
