Haven't seen a good one yet, fyi.

Very unpredictable motion.

I have seen about 12 roll now.

On beat up wood, beat up old synthetics, and newer synthetics.

No one, absolutely no one, will admit it's not "that good."

I mean most of the proshops have charged top dollar for em, and many Preordered them, many got it just cause of belmo (except their short 500 revs)...Yet no one will say it sucks.

Very weird. Most people will say yeah I hate it.

One poor guy went from the original batch phaze--his worn out VG nano hooks and carries circles around it btw-- to the timeless...I feel so bad!

Anywho...I threw one with my favorite layout very close to my span...All I can say is that it was so-so with my hyroad rolling much better.  Very marvel pearl like

It's very hit and miss.  I've seen it look great for some people and awful for an equal amount.  Not much in between, it's either outstanding or terrible.

I've noticed the same thing, I've seen 3/4 of them in several wood and synthetic lanes, and the ball is so squirty in oil (mind you these are rev dominant bowlers' to whom it's supposed to benefit these bowlers' .

It's just another bad to use when the pattern breaks down and you can chase it in (which there are a million options out there for far less money. Consumers have caught up to Storm's hype train and a good amount of bowlers' have jumped ship (Me being one of them).

They mostly all tell me, "hands down, it's amazing" and then struggle to shoot 2 bills a game lol.

Forgot I also threw a opponent's of mine and while I crushed the pocket each time, it really wasn't anything that my Forza gt, or my Rocket couldn't handle, (which their more aggressive down lane for me).

People will stop flocking to hype soon enough.

I saw it roll really nicely for two people who bowl traditional one handed, then I saw a two handed bowler with a pin down and pin up and it was awful for him but he insisted he likes the ball.

Keep in mind, I've never thrown a timeless(yet). But in reading about it, the impression I get is that it reminds me of blade irons. It takes a highly skilled player to use them, and even then the fit has to be perfect. I also think that a lot of people are having issues because they're getting it drilled with their "favorite setup."  I think this one is gonna be on storm and the pro shops to figure out a good layout for the ball. From there it's on the bowler to trust the different than normal layout

Bowler on my team has been using his Timeless now for 3 weeks.  It has been very unpredictable.  He sold his old ball the first night he got the Timeless so he has nothing to fall back to at this point (not sure whey he did that.)  The Timeless jumps a ton on the backend for him, but is difficult for him to control most of the time.  Lots of corner pins with his Timeless, that's for sure!

Has anyone tried a 500 grit abralon with royal/crown compound finish on a Timeless?  Such a finish might really give the Timeless a more consistent ball motion.

I'd definitely put a control or a strong layout for midlane on it. Skid flip ain't happening haha.

I'd punch it the same as my respect, my IQ fusion/solid, Optimus, hyroad.

My PSO seems to love his at the one house he bowls at...shooting good numbers every week...289 and 750ish on the series IIRC. At the house I bowl and work with him at however, it doesn't seem to roll great. But then again, I also use a different arsenal for our shared house than any other house in the area (old wood lanes from the 50's with synthetic overlay, and still the original wood approaches...it can be a beast!).

With that being said, I've seen 2 people throwing it at the other house I bowl at, and neither has impressed. But then again, I haven't thrown the ball, nor do I plan on getting one. I think for strong pearl I'm good with the Fire Quantum and Lucid...

4/5 people I talk to with one talks about it here has some tall tale of some crazy number they shot off the press with it (completely unverified and always in practice) meanwhile they shoot 180 with 6 strikes on the THS with it.

For the few guys I've seen that know what they are doing, this seems like a ball you can count on for a 250+ game per set when they're easy.

Yes! Hahaha this is what I'm seeing. Like it's the d@mn reincarnation of the IQ gold or the marvel pearl and it's not!

I tried someone else's Timeless in 13 lbs and it didn't work for me. Based on everything I have read and heard about the Timeless, it's more likely to be a great ball for your if your ball speed and revolutions are similar to those of Jason Belmonte. If you're substantially below that level of revs and ball speed, don't spend any money getting a Timeless. A Code Black, or a No Rules Pearl, or perhaps a Snap Lock will be a much better choice, not to mention maybe something like a Wreck-Em or a Dare Devil.

I've thought this from the word go. Larger Val angles and some surface. If you drill this one 70*5*25, you aren't going to have a fun time.
