hybrid or pro stock pearl
« on: March 02, 2005, 06:49:27 PM »
Im planning to get a dry lane ball, its a toss up between the HB, pro stock pearl or the sonic x. just want to know your opinion. I am a stroker, with decent amount of revs, dont know my bll speed, axis rotation and axis tilt. and i guess my ball speed is around 15 mph. I play on wood lanes, so that gives you guys somewhat of an idea where i play on, on league nights by the second game the heads are begining to dry up already, and the backends are clean and dry. so thats where i start to scratch my head, coz some of my hits are towards the brooklyn or heavy on the head pin, yes i do make adjustments towards the left, 3 boards on the approach and 1-2 boards on my target. But I guess my ball speed and revs arent  enough to take my ball deeper.

Here are the balls that i currently have:
- super charge
- Triple x factor
- throttle up

Hope you guys can give me advise. thanks!

I have a Hybrid, to me there's no reason for a person to NOT have one. It's a great ball. I've thrown the HRPS, PSP and now the Hybrid and of the three, I'd say Hybrid. IMO best ball for med-dry Storm has come out with in a long time.

my 2 cents are up

I would definitely go with the hybrid....the PSP tends to hook up a little quicker for me as well.....its a great ball with a smooth transition but not the choice for something to get down the lane enough in IMO.
