Is Storm being Poured By Global?

So are they currently using the San Antonio plant to pour Storm balls?

They are using both plants.  Storm was using the San Antonio plant for a few years for their Tropicals, but now has a need for more production and is using it on a much more expanded basis.  Everything poured there for Storm is using Storm's materials.

Read between the lines...  Storm is being poured by Storm at their San Antonio plant.

This seems to beg the question:
Like Faball making their balls at different plants around the country, supposedly using the same materials, resulted in those balls reacting differently,
will the environment at San Antonio plant make the balls manufactured (and cured) there react differently from the ones made in Utah??

(Aside: Do the balls made in SA have a different code than the ones made in Utah?
and will there be any way to tell where they are made, like on the label of the box?)

Nobody has been able to tell the difference in where the balls have come from yet, so why worry about it.  It's not like this is something new.  Some Storm balls have been manufactured by Global for a while now.  It just became public knowledge when Mr. Chrisman made an investment to keep the doors unlocked and his production capacity what it was.

Nothing poured in Utah cracks ever. I promise.

Let me add though, they have been great with replacing equipment and have good customer service. 

I've had more balls than I can shake a stick at crack coming out of KY, much more than any ball rolling out of San Antonio. Since 09/07, I can tell you how first drill balls I've had crack on me.

0, and at last count, I've punched 22, between amf and 900. Only ones I've had crack came from multiple plug jobs in the fingers, which is expected.

I'm sorry you've had a rough time with the equipment, but I can tell what your post is going to be before I even read it if it's pertaining to anything San Antonio based. Maybe the Storm whatever it is will remedy things. Maybe more storms will crack now. Maybe  I'll find metal shavings in my Brunswick ball due to poor factory management. Maybe my Ebonite ball will die in 50 games.

If you don't want to spend your money, that's fine. Continuing to bemoan the fact in every post is tiresome, and doesn't really do anything.

The fact that Chrisman is willing to pour his stuff there shows that he is not worried about 'said issues.' I think that is a good way to think about it.
