step down ball to the frantic
« on: October 29, 2012, 12:20:24 AM »
hi everyone, I am a 2 handed bowler with about 450-500 revs,n17.5 mphb tracking between the fing ers. I own a virtual gravity, a frantic, and a t road solid. All of these bowling balls have a consistent reaction that are always predictable. However, when I bowl on high school shots, it is just a whole lot harder for me to play deep with the way my coaches are. So I am interested in getting a ball that isn't as aggresive on the friction. Any suggestions on a ball for the dry/light oil. The tropical breeze, tropical heat, scream(roto gripme are the front runners of balls that will allow me to play the same area as with my frantic once it starts to overreact. I will also listen to offers of recommendation that aren't storm/roto.

If you have a high rev rate, and you dont have a Breeze Hybrid.... then you're behind.  This would also put a gap between this ball and your frantic so I also would recommend a rotogrip shout to fill that gap.

Well after throwing my Storm T road I now believe that I do not need the Roto Grip shout. However I do think I should consider getting a tropical breeze. Have you thrown the storm tropical breeze hybrid?

No, I was seriously contemplating getting one thought. Everyone with a decent rev rate that I've seen throw it has had a golden orb when the lanes dry out.
