Seems like this is only a VIEWING thing .. don't think you have an opportunity to TRY the equipment .. at least that's what I read from the flyer. Charging $10 doesn't make sense .. in fact it doesn't seem to be a crowd pleaser!

Well who knows if that is a universal fee or is it just my bowling center charging to use the lanes to try the stuff out.

I believe that the "fee" is up to the host center. I dont believe we are charging anything for ours.

As far as trying the balls before you buy them, we are using switch grips to accomplish the same thing that another company has done

I hope the ones around my house use switch grips, I'd love to give a few balls a shot before picking up my next one. Oh the joys of new toys :-D

Thanks for clearing that up.  The only info I had so far was from that person on BR who went to the Ft. Myers one and the local flier I saw.

I think this will be pretty wicked.

There will be one here in Lansing on May 3rd.  I didn't see a cost on the flyer nor did I see what balls might be available to try out.  Sounded like the Shift and Jolt particle.  Haven't heard if they'll also have RG equipment to try out.
