Thunder Struck pearl

Between the ladies on TV and the Japan Cup, I've seen a lot of this ball.  I only see one review on here (Thanks Jeff) and not much in the forum.  Is this ball a gem that everyone has missed so far?  If the pros are using it on TV instead of high-end stuff, it must be pretty good.  Any thoughts?
