Best Discontinued Track Ball?
« on: February 03, 2006, 03:39:05 PM »
I recently bought a couple of track balls, and I am greatly impressed by the hook on the Assassin. I haven't had the chance to try the Money yet, but I hear it is almost as good as the Assassin. What would all of you say is the best discontinued Track ball?

I've thrown 24 Track balls over the years and in my opinion the best ball they have ever put out is the Freak, with the Synergy Pearl a close second. I've never thrown the Assassin, though, so I missed out on that ball.

ok I would have to say for;
Partical: Animal
Reactive: Havoc
Overall: Animal
Hands down these two balls improved my ave 30 pins and they still hold a steady place in my arsenal. Look at my profile and you will see.

My favorite was the Code Red SE, followed by The Rule, and the Crunch Time!

Triton Elite..

By far the best ball I've ever owned..

I still have one, although it's not in competiiton condition it still performs which is why I'll never get rid of it. It holds a place of honor next to my Ebonite Power core Thunderbolt.

I actually liked the "slime green" Nuke. Shot my highest series ever with it. 2nd place would be the Triton Elite.

WOW...the list is so long.

I really liked:
The Animal
The Mutant
Voo Doo
Assassin

There. I could only narrow it down to 4.

The 2 balls that worked great for me and i
had superb success with were the THREAT and
the EZ MONEY. These 2 balls put me over the
200 avg. mark and sice then i have been using
TRACK.

Going to go with the Animal and Havoc myself. The Havoc comes with me every league and tournament session and has bailed me out quite a few times when other equipment becomes to erratic- and both balls work very well on a variety of tougher sport shot conditions.

I liked the original Elite.
About the time when the Contender came out...I didn't like many of the Track balls.
I switched to Ebonire, then Storm, and now back to Track.
I like the Havoc, Animal, and the Delta 1.
The Phenom Unleashed...was a good ball, but was to strong for the conditions I bowled on at the time.
