Tired of rumors? HERE IS YOUR TRACK LEGION Q&A section!
« on: July 09, 2007, 07:02:47 AM »
Guys/Gals I know you have heard many statements about the new Track Equipment. I have read ALOT of them throughout this entire website. If you have specific Questions please post them here. Myself or Rick will answer your questions as best we can. Both of us have had alot of exposure to the new equipment and what they do on the lanes......for every style of bowler. We will be able to answer any question you have.

Thanks,
Carl

Tell me the truth at why he went to Columbia300?

This is between him and Ebonite Intl. It has nothing to do with us or the equipment. That is my final answer.

ALTHOUGH....he looked freakin' unbelieveable throwing the Kinetic and Rising at the product showcase.

I don't think I know it all. I'm stating my opinions of things, and trying to figure out why there was such a LONG delay for equipment that has soo much potential. And not once did I even talk down on their equipment, ever. I simply stated, that they have little to no exposure on today's lanes, and not a whole lot of pros are throwing them. Hell, I loved Track.

And to the release thing, what is coming out that everyone is so worried about? To my knowledge, most of the big releases for all the Ebonite Intl. companies was released in the last month. Over how many releases? Anger, Gamebreaker, Raid, etc.. I don't get your point about that.

Oh, never once did I ever say that I was more superior to anyone on these boards. I simply asked why were the releases pushed back? And then I get told I was useless posting?

I'm done. You all are obviously uptight about how long it has taken to release new products, and are hiding why Wes was transfered, or how he "ended up" at Columbia. Also, there must be a slew more of balls coming out huh? To my knowledge, Ebonite has released SEVERAL releases, along with Hammer, and Columbia is releasing August. Sounds like there putting Track on the back burner.

Hey Kenny,

It was in the best interest under the Ebonite family for Wes to move to Columbia vs Track.  I'd prefer to not go into details and any "official" comments should come from Ebonite regarding this matter.

Not alot, but many participate in regionals and etc.

What do you mean by "many"?  Are you sure, do you have statistics and data that support your comment that the PBA or even PBA Regionals are "making" money? The unfortunate situation of the PWBA folded because of "why"?  The PBA was bought and sold because....?

Please Kenny, you are a bright young man but please do not make assessments unless you can support them with some factual data.

Rick, its simply stated, do you see more Storm's, Ebonite's, Hammer's, Brunswick's, or do you see more Track when you go to any regional?

Simply stated, Track does not have a whole lot of exposure. And when you hear pro's talk down on Track, and saying that they offered there Amateur Staff position down, obviously something is wrong.

Xfest aka kenny,

Ebonite, Hammer and C300s releases are hitting the market sooner because they had their brand managers in place sooner. Nothing more nothing less.

As for the Wes Mellott situation....that is his business. I am sorry if you cannot respect that. I simply came on to let you know that you were incorrect in your stance as to why it happened. It is not my place to give out the specifics.

Ebonite and Hammer have had their brand managers in position for years, Columbia had their brand manager a couple months before Track did, so they have had more time to work on their stuff than Track has

i used to think they were putting Track on the back burner also and it pissed me off to no end, then others pointed out those things of why they are later than the rest, im a Trackster, ive never spend money on any other brand, i do have a Columbia Action i won in a raffle, spent $3 on that ball, i love the Track gear, will continue to use and wait on their stuff until it doesnt match up with me anymore

the only other brand i have even thought about buying is Morich, and im still looking at the LevRG, its a pretty interesting ball

Let me try and answer this for you bud, picture the amount of people you have in your household.  NOW, lets add about 15 more people that your Mom and Dad have to cook for on the same stove...

So Ken, sorry bud but a little more detail..it's okay to discuss, we're just trying to help and no one is trying to pick on you, especially not me.

Back to my analogy, 15 more mouths to feed, if one person in the house gets his plate before another, does that mean they're more important than the next one?

Track is NOT on the backburner, all 15 kids would be just as important to your Mom and Dad but somebody's getting their plate last, right?

Unfortunately for me, I was the youngest and smallest so it was me....lol

No he is a VP. He does what the VP only does, he cast the deciding vote over what Hitman gets the last peace of cake or pie, when we can't deside amoung ourselves. I am 5'10" so I would walk in front of Rick. Yet it would have to be a few feet in front because if I did take a hit I would need falling roon. The last thing we need is Rick having me or any of the Hitmen landing on him.

Also figs I want my pull over, and you never came to the shop and I recall you saying something about a steak dinner. You can't just talk about a steak dinner around a Hitman and not come through. I think my fellow Hitmen will back me up on that. Like my grandma said the time I ordered the 22oz. New Yourk strip with the add on of the lobster tail and shrimp. "You gona eat all that mark.", I replyed, "O yes grandma and I am eyeballing that photo of the wild berry pie also."
