3rd Place today...
« on: August 20, 2006, 08:17:14 AM »
Got 3rd today in the National Ameteur Bowler's Tour Orlando Region Tournament at AMF Longwood Lanes. It was a sport condition... Almost acted like reverse block when it was fresh...

108 Entries

Shot 749 in the 3-game qualifier. Made the cut to Top 16 Semi Finals as 1st seed.

Shot 656 in Semi's. Made the cut as 4th seed to Top 8 Match Play.

Won my Round of 8 Match against the 5th Seed 223-198. Made it to Top 4.

Lost my Round of 4 Match against the 1st Seed 231-176 (Ouch!).

Placed 3rd and won some cash.

I used: MoRich Weapon of Mass Bias most of the time. Great ball for Sport Conditions. I also used a MoRich Awesome Flip and Storm Tropical.

Sorry guys, had to brag a bit, lol.

Congratulations, that's good bowling on a sport condition.

Amen!!! In the Orlando region of the ABT we see sport shots nearly every tournament, so I'm getting the hang of it.

Problem is... so is everyone else! I felt like a king in qualifying though... I was 1st seed after the qual round and the closest person to me shot a 691 set to my 749.

If only I didn't suck it up in the round of 4...

BS,

That is awesome! Congrats dude. Doesn't it feel a little bit more fulfilling doing well on a tougher shot? You should be proud of yourself! Yesterday, I practiced with some friends on PBA Pattern #4 or 5 (I'll have to check on it), and let's just say it was a humbling experience!

Keep on rollin',
