Just tried to buy a ball, I got my $10 off for using google checkout, but it is not accepting the gift certificate codes as it was just yesterday. It says the gift certificate is valid, but it doesn't take $30 off the total. Kieth talked us all into purchasing these gift certificates and now google has cut us off. So It appears you can't get $10 off and use a gift certificate. I think I may put in for a refund.

I am sure they will as soon as they fix the problem so it won't keep occuring..

The problem is that I know people that have already had the money taken out of their checking account, but don't have the gift certificates.

If there is a problem with the gift certificate and google checkout discount, that is between bowlingball.com and google.....if you have already taken the money from somebody, then you need to give them the merchandise!

Bowlingball.com is the one that came on here and told us all how to take advantage of this "deal." This is different than if I, or any other BR member came on here and told you how to "beat the system." This "deal" came directly from the CEO of the business.

If google has a problem with this "deal" they need to take it up with bowlingball.com. Google checkout has already taken the $20 per certificate out of people's accounts. So, why isn't bowlingball.com following up with the orders?

Please don't say that they can't keep up. Obviously the system is automated - nobody is sitting at a desk generating GC numbers. The first GC's were delivered within minutes........some people have been waiting DAYS.....after the money has already been removed from their accounts. This is a big shopping weekend, and now people are possibly being screwed!

Peeps, chill out.

In the words of someone that has had similar problems with bb.com and google checkout, the problem was resolved in a timely and professional manner. Plus, the mistake was my fault for not completing the checkout correctly. I just purchased four more GC and received them less than eight minutes after completion. Leave your message w/bb.com and allow for a CSR to contact you.

Calling a lawyer was a joke. HAHA. The problem is that they set this promotion in place and they didn't figure it would do so well. Even Keith Spear came on this site and promoted the sale of as many gift certificates as you want. He said to take advantage of this promtion. He said that you'll be foolish if you don't. These Scorchin bowling balls only have a slight color issue. We have 2-3 and 3-4 inch pins. No long pins and no top weights that are not within range. Plus you may request your pin and top when checking out.

I know that it sounds bizarre, but that is correct. Right now Google is offering any customer $10 off every $30, no limit, when the the order is placed through Google Checkout. The offer can end at any time. Google is an outstanding company that is moving forward very aggressively. They also want to give something back to the world.

If you are not ordering everything online this Holiday Season through Google Checkout, you are throwing money away. They currently are only working with the larger Internet companies.

I don't think anyone is going to get screwed. bowlingball.com is a huge company and been in business since 1997. It would not be smart for them to screw anyone here on br.com since negative word of mouth would really hurt their business..

Just try to give them a day or so to work all the kinks out on this mess.. I understand alot of people are frustrated but if it wasn't for some people being very greedy, this would have probably never happened..

I also don't understand why Keith would post something here about how its such a good deal if it was something we where not supposed to do.. I am sure alot of people are wondering that same thing right now..

this is what I was concerned with..... that and not being able to use them for one order............

As far as being taken advantage of why not I get taken everyday when I punch in for work... They obviously want to be able to compete with Paypal and if this promo gets their foot in the door, why not after all bowlers that get on these sites are the MINORITY, its not like google is going to lose money to all 2.4 million sanctioned members of the USBC.

So, how many have you purchased total?

I already got mine, so no problem.

Problem is my friend bought 10 Wednesday, used 5 or 6. He bought 5 more on Thursday (to use to as gifts) and he hasn't gotten the last 5. He's been charged for all 15. It's been over 48 hours since his last transaction.

He didn't type in the address incorrectly, so what's the hold up?

Check all your orders and make sure you entered the correct e-mail address. I messed up on one and BB.Com sent me the code within a few hours and on Thanksgiving.

Well i had 3 GC sent to me and 1 sent to my bro and none of them have showed up.
I went backed and checked the e-mail adress and they are all perfect, i'm confused and upset about this.
