BB.com gift certificates not working

Just tried to buy a ball, I got my $10 off for using google checkout, but it is not accepting the gift certificate codes as it was just yesterday.  It says the gift certificate is valid, but it doesn't take $30 off the total.  Kieth talked us all into purchasing these gift certificates and now google has cut us off. So It appears you can't get $10 off and use a gift certificate.  I think I may put in for a refund.

I bought a ball wed. and shoes thurs, I guess that makes me greedy because I can't use my remaining two gift certificates.  I may be flagged, as before my email woul be already there but now I have to type it in.  For those that are not having problems, does the gift certificate $30 come off before or after you place the order.  Previously it would subtract it after you enter the code, now it says coupon valid but price is not reduced. So, I don't finish  the order.  I think maybe if you are a 1st time user you are not having problems.

No your not greedy. I am talking about people that cheated the system and probably used the certs over and over and that sort of thing. I bought 2 pairs of shoes (for friends) and a ball and I don't consider you or me greedy..

I really don't care what those dishonest people did. It has zero effect on me. My point was it more than likely it screwed it up for other people when br.com and google had to try to figure out what was going on, thats all I was trying to say..

Jkiser, No offense taken and none meant, I just don't know why My certificates aren't working and others peoples are?  BB.com was all over this site this morning but no responce to my post yet.

I understand the frustration and hope you get it all worked out quickly.. I am thinking that they where bombarded wuth emails of people having problems and questions so it might take awhile to get it all straightened out.. Good luck..

I thought I'd pass this along, I received my GCs about 10 minutes after I ordered them yesterday but was not able to actually use them on the site.  I kept getting that there was a problem entering them and tried off and on all day.  Now, I use Linux and the Firefox browser so I booted up my Windows machine and tried that way, still using Firefox, it was a no go.  I switched to the Internet Explorer browser and got right in and used my GCs to place my order with no problems, including the $15 coupon code.

I don't know if they worked the kinks out of the site or because I switched to IE browser that I was able to order, it might just be an activeX thing that only IE renders properly but it might be worth a try if you use Firefox. The other thing is that there are security measures built into IE that limit some activex activities so check your settings and give it another go.

i did it fine on firefox after trying all day

just had to make sure the order cost minus shipping was more than the total gift certificate amount, after that, it worked
