Bowlers
« on: December 30, 2002, 10:20:01 PM »
We are losing bowlers fast enough, I want all BR to be extremely careful over the rest of the holidays.  Matter of fact, everyone post here on the afternoon of the 1st so I can make sure everyone is ok.

Happy holidays

Happy 2003 everybody, I am in one piece (played it smart and stayed home last night.) and feeling alive after a 14 hour sleepathon from last night. Cant wait to bowl tomorrow night and start off the new year with a bang. Hope all had a great, safe time and lets all do it again same time next year!

P.S. I didnt get my 300/800 from Santa Claus last week, but I'll go for the New Year's resolution on it instead.

your pain, I had to go through the broken wrist bone ( left wrist)
thing, took 3 months, but is ok now.

Thank you, Girl Scout!. I appreciate it very much. Thankfully, the wrist is fine. The hand is lovely yellowish purple right now.

It only hurts when I laugh ...

How did you do that?

I take the 5th amendment on that;I'd rather not incriminate myself.

Nope; just gave me a splint; Funny thing is it looks almost exactly like a RObby's. Bone is fractured, not separated; I can almost type ... Supposed to heal in 4 weeks; supposed to be back to normal in 6-8 weeks. Thanks, again.

SrKegler,
Here I am, a day late and a(nother) dollar short, but none the worse for wear.  You're not getting rid of me that easy - I am still ready to join you in Cincinnati in June of THIS year.

Happy New Year

Still here.  Didn't go out New Year's Eve.  People here in Las Vegas have enough trouble driving sober.  I didn't need to go out to see the increasingly impressive driving antics that night.

I'm still here, though my ex-boyfriend died on Dec 27, and I'm feeling my mortality these last few days.  Went to a bowling party on New Year's Eve.  It was cosmic and I couldn't see where I was throwing, but it was fun anyway.  Thanks for asking, SrKegler!

I hope everyone has a happy and, more importantly, healthy, new year!

Glad to see every one is back and "fairly" healthy.  One broken hand?  Not too bad out of a family of around 4,000.

Hope everyone gets their honor scores this year.

CB in da house!
My daughter just left to go back to school and arrived in Santa Cruz safely, so I'm a happy mom.  Still waiting for the other one to return from WA state on Sat, so will be happier when she returns safely

Hmmm.  Looks like the gang's all here. Whether that is good or bad, I'm not sure...

ThongPrincess checking in and looking forward to a return league Tuesday.  I may have to go bowl a few tomorrow.  Got to make sure I haven't lost my form.

I survived the New Years deal myself.  I celebrated midnight by going out to the mailbox to see what bills the mailman had left for me on New Years Eve day.  Yep, sure enough, there was a bill in the box!

While I was out at the mailbox, I heard enough gunfire going off that I decided it was probably better to have a roof over my head (falling lead), so I wandered back inside.  It is pretty easy to distinguish fireworks from gunfire in my area, and you hear both of 'em on New Years Eve at midnight.
