first 300...

just want to say that i shot my first 300 at the JBT Las Vegas Open. was also wondering when and where everyone elses first 300's were.

Congratulations on getting one so young---but if i can be a little bit of a party pooper---I really dont think its right for a 13 year old to have an 8 ball arsenal---nowhere neat that many balls are needed at that stage

my first was at the NY high school state finals when i was in 11th grade in 2004 third game of the morning set. shot 778 that set.

i know, thats what everyone says, but i bowl tournaments on a lot of different conditions, so it IS right for me to have that many bowling balls.

I'm 15 and in a High School match shot a 298...but my 300 was non-sanctioned i was in a bet for money when i did it.

My first (and only) was at Munsee Lanes during the scratch league on April Fools day last season, which was still 2009, so this year.

Another "party pooper" comment:-
All that stuff that you have put in your signature is already in your profile,where we can look at it if we want. I, personally, don't want this sort of info "forced" on me.  It takes up a lot of place, too.

Congratulations, too!!!

No 300 yet, but last week I came close: just a 279 (for a new personal High game record).

Opened with 3 strikes, when the machine swallowed my ball (my Revolution Renegade). Not expecting much (since it was training) I just threw another ball, hoping to get the lost one back from the machine. Was a 9/ count though, ball came back, and from there on I stringed 11 further strikes. Not sure if I should be happy or not - chances are high that with the whole game with my Renegade, it could easily have been a 300. I had phenomenal control and carry with it, probably an ideal condition window and me as a very relaxed operator.

Well, it will surely come...

way to go congrats! when I shot my first, some old guy came up to me in the 8th frame and said: just follow thru. great advise for me.
