Which ball would have the smoothest reaction off the dry (short pattern such as Cheetah) - the Brunswick Fanatic BTU (https://youtu.be/t1hPsvDuRkY) or the Track Tundra (https://youtu.be/HFSC_1-eog8)?

Are you talking about of just the new balls that are out, or including old balls as well?

A lot of that depends on surface prep and whether it is a symmetrical cored ball. in my experience the nature of most symmetricals is to roll smooth. Then, how you prep the surface and how you drill it.
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!

Smooth reaction also depends a lot on the release. Cranker, stroker or full roller.
Layout also has a lot to do with motion of a bowling ball.
Discuss this with your local pro shop for best solution for YOU.
