Survey: What do you do for a living?
« on: October 05, 2005, 03:44:58 AM »
Hey everyone, I know this is most likely a re-post, but I know bowlers come from all walks of life. Blue collar, white collar, etc. My team consists of a Grocery Store Manager, a Nurse, & a stay at home Dad. I myself work in Human Resources at an Insurance company.

After bowling for the last 15 years, I've met people in all different kinds of work. From Postal Carriers to Business people to plumbers. You name it. Bowling attracts a wide range of people. Pretty neat eh? (I just said "eh," and I'm not Canadian hehe)

I lead a life of luxury compliments of the state.  I live large courtesy of the taxpayer; I'm a hog at the trough of academic largesse.

I'm a university librarian.

Ramtart,

What kind of degree, if any, do you have for the human resources position, and is the pay decent?  I'm asking because I'm thinking of doing that myself, and someone in the know would help me out a lot on my decision.

Sofware Quality Manager - now at a very large, blue, semiconductor company.
That's the job that guarantees the bills will get paid.

In my "spare" time, I run www.bowlersresourcecenter.com, where I have listed my published Bowlers Score Book - a great tool in tracking your performance.

I also help hubby with his ebay business - mainly in the estate/garage sale prowls for items for resale.

I also work one day a week at a pro shop helping out here and there.
