World Championships
« on: October 21, 2008, 01:15:41 AM »
With the first Tour stop upon us it is time to start asking who will win.  Who will win the World Championships this year and why.  I will say Wes Malott because he has the full support of Roto-Grip and a new line of top quality equipment that fits him well.

I'd love to see Norm Duke defend his title and become the first person to win back-to-back-to-back majors.

Brian Voss, or at least make the championship against Loschetter again. I missed it the first time and youtube is letting me down.

I'm gonna go with Rhino Page...

He wasn't just hot last year, as many people say. He's actually that good, and I'm looking for some repeat performances this year. If a lefty makes the show, Rhino will win.

IF THEY LOCK OUT THE LEFTIES AND MAKE THE LEFT SIDE IMPOSSIBLE ---

I'm going to go with Duke.

I'm pulling for Wes Malott.  He's got more game than most people realize and I think he's going to have a big year combining his game and Roto Grip equipment.

Regardless of who wins, it will be an intersting season to watch.

Beau McVey is another Wichita State alum and Billy Oatman is a former Wichita State player.  Why Oatman is never referred to as an ex-bowler for Wichita State for two years on TV still befuddles me.

I have to agree with you CHEECH, either Tommy Jones or Jason Couch will win it,

Both are looking very shop this year, and one of them will be PLAYER OF THE YEAER -stamped-
